The Manvel Mavericks emerged victorious in the district opener against the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks on Oct. 4 with a score of 40-0.
The game took off quickly, with the Mavericks leading 21-0 in the second quarter, then 28-0 at halftime. They continued to defend their lead well in the second half, achieving the final score of 40-0 with 1:47 left on the clock.
