Gender roles were given a temporary twist today as MHS hosted its annual powderpuff football game.
The two opposing sides, Juniors and Seniors, took to the JV football field to battle out for the winning title. Female volunteers were the players, male volunteers were the cheerleaders, and football players were the coaches. Juniors led at the half, but seniors quickly picked it up and began to lead the game in the second half. As the clock ran out, however, juniors managed to score the winning touchdown with only seconds left, finishing in a 20-18 victory.
