Despite a solid performance, the Manvel Mavericks were eliminated from playoffs by the Katy Tigers on Friday Night with a final game score of 45-17.
Both teams played a tough first half, with Katy taking the lead at halftime with a score of 17-10. In the third quarter, the Mavs briefly pulled the game up to a tie before the Tigers pulled a bigger lead and won the game. While many members of the Manvel community were greatly disheartened by the loss, others look forward to improving and possibly taking on the same team again next year.
