On Friday March 31 and Saturday, April 1, the Manvel Majestics performed at this year’s Spring Show.
The two performances, one at 7pm on Friday and one at 2pm on Saturday were both largely successful. Many students and their families came out to support the team in a wrap to their season.
“Being able to bring excitement to our audience is the best feeling ever, and being able to do it with my closest friends made it even better,” junior Kalle Miller, who also performed a solo in the show, said.
The Manvel Majestics have traveled and performed to various contests and football games throughout the year and Spring Show was a great way to show the community what they’ve worked hard on all school year.
“[The girls] were great. We had fantastic performances and they were well-prepared and they’ve been working on this for months. The crowd really enjoyed it,” dance instructor Heather Perkins said.
And for some dancers, this would be their last performance on stage as a Majestic.
“[Spring Show] was really bittersweet – it’s been a long year and a long ride. It was really good to come to a close with everyone and to dance for that last time,” senior Isabella McDonald said.
